Job Description

Based in Baltimore, E Logic is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support IRS-related initiatives. The role focuses on leading data management, governance, and administration within Databricks and cloud-native environments, shaping secure, scalable data pipelines across the Enterprise Data Platform.

Position details

  • Location: Baltimore, MD (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 120,000 per year
  • Minimum experience: 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Design, scale, and maintain data pipelines for intake, governance, and tenant services on the Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Optimize Databricks clusters, manage workspaces, and administer platform policies to ensure reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and security teams to implement robust guardrails for data ingestion and processing.

Requirements

  • Eight plus years of dedicated cloud technology experience, with AWS or Azure preferred.
  • Three to five years of hands-on work deploying, governing, and managing Databricks environments.
  • Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python, Delta Lake, and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Ability to obtain a federal government background check / Public Trust clearance.
