Job Description
VISUAL SOFT, Inc is supporting a federal agency by hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help design and deliver an advanced visual analytics application. The role focuses on turning structured and semi-structured data into intelligence that is both actionable and manageable, while enabling analytics across desktop and web environments.
What You’ll Do
- Perform engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application, including developing data analytics for desktop and web visual analytic software.
- Enable bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, leveraging the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
- Build an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship with an active TOP SECRET clearance.
- TOP SECRET is a must; the job is fully onsite.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.

Compensation
- Salary is based on experience and other qualifications.
- 1099 is also available only for individuals NOT in a C2C scenario; checks are issued in the legal name.
