Senior Data Engineer | Scientist

Kelly Services is hiring a Senior Data Engineer | Scientist to design, build, and deliver scalable data solutions that enable business intelligence, advanced analytics, and operational excellence. This onsite role in Juncos, Puerto Rico focuses on translating business needs into technical approaches while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and operational excellence initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions using programming, data engineering, and analytical methodologies

What you bring

• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of related experience
• Degree background in Data Science, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Preferred: Software Engineering or Data Science/Analytics
• Strong experience with programming, coding, system design and architecture, algorithms, and data structures
• Proficiency in programming and statistical languages such as Python, R, SAS, or MATLAB, plus experience with SQL and database technologies
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using programming and analytical techniques to address business challenges and routine technical problems
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate technical requirements and select appropriate tools and technologies
• Effective communication in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)

Location and schedule

• Onsite attendance in Juncos, Puerto Rico (US)
• Applicants must reside in Puerto Rico or be able to independently relocate within one to two weeks (relocation expenses are not covered)

• Full-Time hours: 8AM–5PM
• 24/7 support is required

Compensation

• $48.00 per hour
• Payment method: biweekly direct deposit (W-2)
