Unity Vector is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and productionalize machine learning for personalized ads recommendations.

Understand the ads business in depth, including the product offering, advertiser goals, the ads serving funnel, and real-time/dynamic user interaction signals
Lead foundational research to develop new models and ML paradigms for ads recommendation
Use rich user data alongside large-scale compute to validate models quickly and iteratively
Partner with engineering and product teams to productionalize research and drive implementation

Hands-on experience applying state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning to complex real-world problems, specifically user behavior modeling
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience using deep learning frameworks
Strong understanding of metric design, large-scale data analysis, and distributed computing frameworks
Proven record of delivering end-to-end projects, including cross-team problem solving and measurable business outcomes

Gross annual salary ranges by zone:
- Zone A: $188,200 - $244,600
- Zone B: $167,200 - $217,300
- Zone C: $148,700 - $193,300
Beyond base salary, the role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in company incentive plans (examples include annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions)
