Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer

Work onsite in Wyomissing, PA while delivering mechanical engineering services that help clients move from planning through procurement, construction, and commissioning. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, guide a mechanical engineering team, and take point on projects that require coordination across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering services that satisfy client, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead mechanical engineering projects and oversee project requirements as needed.
• Prepare progress reports and participate in relevant project meetings.
• Support procurement activities, including requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
• Develop proposal content and assist with project cost estimates.
• Serve as Mechanical Engineering Lead on assigned projects.
• Communicate effectively with engineering teams, customers, and project stakeholders.
• Support junior mechanical engineering personnel and help resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.
• Extensive mechanical engineering experience in the same or a similar industry.
• Experience with project leadership, multidisciplinary projects, and team-based environments.
• Strong technical and practical mechanical engineering skills.
• Knowledge of applicable local and international standards, plus statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with mechanical engineering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of mechanical engineering experience.
