Responsibilities

• Design and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes
• Conduct process modeling and define design criteria from data analysis
• Support evaluation, selection, and implementation of process solutions
• Perform hydraulic analyses for treatment facilities
• Engineer chemical storage and feed systems
• Size and specify blower systems
• Create process flow diagrams
• Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Develop specifications and contract documents
• Support construction efforts
• Lead the development of construction drawings and 3D models
• Assist the Process Group Leader with team management, scheduling, budget monitoring, and ensuring deliverables meet Garver standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/agricultural engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Master’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or related engineering discipline
• Eight or more years of direct experience designing water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Professional Engineer Licensure (PE)
• Experience with biological modeling software such as BioWin, GPS-X, and Sumo
• Experience collaborating with diverse disciplinary teams, including civil, structural, building mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control disciplines
