Job Description

Garver's College Station Water Design Center is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead a project team delivering water and wastewater treatment facility designs from concept through bid-ready documents. This onsite role in College Station, TX partners with equipment vendors, regulatory agencies, and construction support to ensure high-quality, compliant designs and timely project delivery. The position offers a salary range of USD 113,256 to 161,532 per year and requires a master’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or related engineering discipline along with at least ten years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop designs for water and wastewater treatment processes
  • Perform process modeling and establish design criteria from modeling data
  • Aid in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of treatment processes
  • Conduct hydraulic analyses for water and wastewater facilities
  • Design chemical storage and feed systems
  • Size and design blower systems
  • Create process flow diagrams
  • Produce piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Prepare specifications and contract documents
  • Support construction projects
  • Oversee the development of construction drawings and 3D models
  • Assist the Process Group Leader with mentoring, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering quality work per Garver standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/agricultural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Master’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or related engineering discipline
  • 10 or more years of direct experience designing water and wastewater facilities
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • Experience with biological modeling software such as BioWin, GPS-X, and Sumo
  • Proven ability to collaborate within diverse multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, building mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines
