Thermal Test Engineer

This Thermal Test Engineer position in San Jose, CA (onsite) supports cross-functional engineering teams by enabling thermal testing, interpreting thermal performance results, and producing clear reporting with improvement recommendations. The role emphasizes system-level traffic generation setup, thermal test data analysis, and root-cause investigation for thermal issues.

Core Responsibilities

• Set up and configure traffic generation systems ahead of thermal testing activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, RF, and software engineering groups.
• Analyze thermal test data to identify the root causes of thermal issues.
• Produce comprehensive thermal test reports and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Support ongoing process and product improvements related to thermal performance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with system-level setup and configuration of traffic generation for thermal testing.
• Ability to interface effectively with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency in analyzing thermal data and diagnosing thermal issues.
• Strong written communication skills to document findings in detailed thermal reports.
• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
