Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, debugging, and maintaining software used to test F-16 OFP COMET avionics ITS at Hill AFB, Utah, while onsite in Clearfield, UT and meeting security clearance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design software to verify OFPs on ITS and within virtual environments
- Develop software to validate OFPs on ITS and in simulated environments
- Document software for testing OFPs on ITS and in virtual testbeds
- Test software used to exercise OFPs on ITS and in simulated environments
- Debug software used to test OFPs on ITS and in virtual environments
- Maintain software used to test OFPs on ITS and in virtual test environments
Requirements
- At least an Interim Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain a Final Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Experience with Unix/Linux System Services
- Proficiency in C and C++ software development
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
- Knowledge of Aircraft Weapons Systems
- Experience with Avionics Modeling and Aircraft Weapon Simulation modeling
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Sun Solaris, Linux, or VxWorks (VxSim)
