Responsibilities
- Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage and utilities using CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions tailored to client needs.
- Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
