Responsibilities

Regularly develops standards and guidelines to support project delivery
Leads projects within their specialized practice area
Directs design efforts within a project and prepares design packages for bidding
Develops alternative design approaches for complex engineering programs, considering realistic requirements, constraints, community input, permitting, and regulatory factors; integrates advanced concepts to solve complex problems
Oversees large or multidisciplinary project teams
Advises on staffing and funding needed to execute projects
Oversees technical, legal, and financial task issues of an entire project
Consolidates these components into a comprehensive project management plan for complex engineering initiatives
Defines project objectives and requirements

Requirements

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with reciprocity across multiple states
Valid Driver’s License

Experience

Related experience: 16 years

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
