Responsibilities

• Regularly develops standards and guidelines to support project delivery
• Leads projects within their specialized practice area
• Directs design efforts within a project and prepares design packages for bidding
• Develops alternative design approaches for complex engineering programs, considering realistic requirements, constraints, community input, permitting, and regulatory factors; integrates advanced concepts to solve complex problems
• Oversees large or multidisciplinary project teams
• Advises on staffing and funding needed to execute projects
• Oversees technical, legal, and financial task issues of an entire project
• Consolidates these components into a comprehensive project management plan for complex engineering initiatives
• Defines project objectives and requirements

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with reciprocity across multiple states
• Valid Driver’s License

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
