Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts for large-scale commercial developments, ensuring the design of pavement, utilities, drainage, and related infrastructure.
- Design and implement flood protection plans and temporary controls in accordance with agency specifications; familiarity with funding requirements from agencies such as USIBWC, TWDB, USDA, Bureau of Reclamation, TxDOT, and others is advantageous.
- Oversee the design and construction execution of water and sewer municipal projects, including treatment plants, lift stations, and related system improvements.
- Direct the design of essential infrastructure for residential subdivisions, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Valid professional engineering license (P.E.) in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional civil engineering experience with a focus on project leadership.
- Proven track record of meeting local government and state agency requirements.
- Membership in professional associations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers or the American Water Works Association is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
