Job Description

Manpower Engineering is hiring a Project Engineer in Richland, MS (onsite) to support engineering and design project delivery from design through resolution.

Responsibilities

Review quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to verify design requirements, technical accuracy, and pricing alignment.
Create project design schedules, track progress, and address obstacles to keep deliverables aligned with project goals.
Coordinate design activities across civil design, steel fabrication, and internal project meetings to support smooth execution.
Travel to customer sites to conduct technical evaluations, develop recommendations, and assist with field measurements when required.
Resolve project design and warranty issues.
Respond to customer feedback on drawings; review customer and internal drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and identify corrections as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar field.
Working knowledge of drafting and 3-D modeling software, such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Ability to identify scope changes and initiate requests for change orders.
Experience supporting engineering studies (example: CFD analysis) for customer projects or product development.
Drive to improve products and processes.
