Job Description

Software Developer (Go / Backend Engineering) position at SPAN Enterprises, focused on backend services, RESTful APIs, and secure authentication.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang) and Gin

Requirements

Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development
Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design
Good understanding of Go concurrency concepts: goroutines, channels, and mutexes
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Deloitte seeks a Delivery Senior Consultant focused on Identity and Gen AI engineering to design, implement, and secure AI solutions with robust identity, access, and trust controls across both human and non-human identities and GenAI platforms. The role combines hands-on software engineering, system integration, and ongoing enhancement of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

Build and integrate generative AI solutions, including large language model applications, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI agents, with secure access to data and downstream systems.
Engineer authentication, authorization, and identity controls for AI agents, service accounts, and other non-human identities operating across enterprise and cloud environments.
Develop guardrails for agentic workflows, including scoped permissions, least-privilege access, credential and secrets management, and runtime policy enforcement.
Implement logging, monitoring, and governance that provide traceability and accountability for AI system actions.
Collaborate with IAM, security architecture, and data teams to embed identity controls into GenAI solution delivery and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to work onsite up to 5 days a week.
3+ years of software engineering experience with Python or a comparable language.
1+ year of hands-on experience building, integrating, or deploying generative AI solutions such as LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI agents, including use of model APIs, orchestration frameworks, and AI development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts and protocols, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on, and standards such as OpenID Connect, SAML, OAuth, and JSON Web Token.
Ability to travel 15 percent on average based on the work and client engagement.
Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Hybrid Delivery Center location and travel: reside within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia).

Responsibilities

Requirements

Proven use of resilience patterns (timeouts, retries, circuit breakers) and distributed tracing in microservice environments.
Experience with data ownership and consistency strategies (sagas, outbox, eventual consistency).
Track record of translating customer requirements into product outcomes via discovery, scoping, tradeoffs, and iterative delivery; collaboration with Product, UX, and customer-facing teams.
Strong proficiency in at least two of Node.js/TypeScript, Python, PHP, with ability to work across all four as needed.
4+ years of cloud experience, with a strong preference for AWS (IAM, VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and service-owned persistence.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration; Kubernetes/EKS preferred where applicable.
Familiarity with OAuth2 and JWT, and modern service authentication/authorization practices.
Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and engineering best practices.
Expert-level proficiency with Cursor or comparable AI coding tools for prompting, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and safe-use discipline.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
