Job Description

Auto-Chlor System invites you to join an on-site, full-time Electrical Engineer for Prototype Design in Memphis, TN. This role emphasizes practical impact, collaboration, and ongoing development, with relocation support, extensive benefits, and a competitive compensation package. The position is based at our Memphis facility with a salary up to USD 150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions for dishwasher and dispensing innovation projects, covering both new equipment development and enhancements to existing equipment. Project durations range from two months to over a year depending on the project brief.
Ensure regulatory compliance with NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, and federal, state, and local authorities; support the field sales team on regulatory matters to keep customer equipment operating without business disruption.
Provide technical support to the field sales team, contractors, consultants, engineers, and architects.
Develop and manage technical documentation for design control and field use.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or comparable years of work experience.
5 to 10 years of electrical and electronic design experience, plus experience working with regulatory agencies. Experience in the commercial appliance industry is preferred.
Embedded software and hardware design.
Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA).
Electrical and electronic circuit design.
CAD modeling, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
