Electrical Engineer-Prototype Design

Auto-Chlor System invites you to join an on-site, full-time Electrical Engineer for Prototype Design in Memphis, TN. This role emphasizes practical impact, collaboration, and ongoing development, with relocation support, extensive benefits, and a competitive compensation package. The position is based at our Memphis facility with a salary up to USD 150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for dishwasher and dispensing innovation projects, covering both new equipment development and enhancements to existing equipment. Project durations range from two months to over a year depending on the project brief.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, and federal, state, and local authorities; support the field sales team on regulatory matters to keep customer equipment operating without business disruption.
• Provide technical support to the field sales team, contractors, consultants, engineers, and architects.
• Develop and manage technical documentation for design control and field use.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or comparable years of work experience.
• 5 to 10 years of electrical and electronic design experience, plus experience working with regulatory agencies. Experience in the commercial appliance industry is preferred.
• Embedded software and hardware design.
• Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA).
• Electrical and electronic circuit design.
• CAD modeling, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
