Advanced Software Engineer - Test Systems

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to strengthen its engine test systems in Phoenix, Arizona. This onsite role focuses on building and maintaining the software that enables reliable engine data acquisition for both development and production testing, while also providing responsive support when issues arise during field testing.

As part of the team, you will work across multiple testing scenarios and evolve supporting tooling as hardware and software platforms change. The position also includes an on-call component to help ensure engine testing can continue smoothly when systems fail in the field, along with collaboration on additional software applications that support testing needs.

Responsibilities

• Write software that supports engine data acquisition for Development and Production testing
• Maintain a variety of software tools as hardware and software upgrades occur
• Provide on-call support for engine testing to respond when systems fail in the field
• Assist with a variety of software applications supporting engine test operations

Requirements

• Experienced Software Engineer with a variety of software coding experience
• Broad base programming skills
• Good communication and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting across a variety of roles
