Agentic AI Engineer Lead
Job Description
Lead Agentic AI Engineer role at CGI Group for a US Bank, onsite at client sites in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, or Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI Intent initiatives by combining Scrum Master and Product Owner duties to map the AI automation roadmap
- Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, memory management, and autonomous task execution
- Hands on workflow configuration in Azure Foundry and AWS Bedrock
- Implement prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and tool calling mechanisms
- Build multi agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, MCP Server, or Semantic Kernel
- Design Retrieval Augmented Generation pipelines for context aware AI responses
- Create scalable backend services and APIs to support AI agent operations
- Monitor agent performance, reliability, and response quality
- Ensure responsible AI practices including security, governance, observability and compliance
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business teams to deliver AI driven automation solutions
Requirements
- Experience in AI agent automation development on Azure and AWS
- Strong ability to shape AI product roadmaps and maintain backlogs
- Minimum five plus years in software development with exposure to agentic AI deployments
- Proficiency in implementing agentic automation on Azure Foundry and AWS Bedrock
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and Pandas
- Familiar with agile testing practices
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
Compensation
- Salary: USD 57,100 - 154,300 per year

- As a lead member of the US Bank Agentic AI team, you will build automation for a variety of banking use cases
