AI Engineer

Realign LLC is hiring an AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and improve scalable machine learning and generative or agentic AI solutions. This onsite role supports work that spans end-to-end ML pipelines, multimodal AI applications, and LLM-powered agent systems built to meet performance, scalability, security, and governance needs.

The role is based in Sunrise, FL or Phoenix, AZ, with a salary of USD 165,000 per year. 8+ years of experience is required.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions to address complex business problems.
• Build and optimize end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion through model deployment and monitoring.
• Develop advanced Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI agents.
• Design and implement agentic AI frameworks using LangGraph, LangChain, and related technologies.
• Build and deploy multimodal AI solutions integrating text, image, audio, and video capabilities.
• Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Architects to shape AI strategy and roadmaps.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and recommend approaches to improve business outcomes.
• Support AI systems that satisfy performance, scalability, security, and governance requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and promote AI engineering best practices.
• Communicate technical ideas, project progress, and solution impact to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Core requirements

• 8+ years of experience.
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing machine learning pipelines.
• Strong Python foundations, including OOP concepts, functions and modules, iterators/generators, exception handling, decorators, typing and data classes, data structures and algorithms, and design patterns.
• Machine learning knowledge using NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow, and Matplotlib.
• Generative and agentic AI experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, FAISS/Pinecone, and OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs, including LangGraph Agents and RAG.
• DevOps Engineer experience is listed as a required skill.
