Senior Software Engineer role focusing on real-time processing software development within an Agile team for defense radar and missile defense systems, with SECRET DoD security clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time processing software in support of the product lines
- Collaborate within an Agile team alongside hardware, software, subsystems, and systems engineering experts to clarify requirements
- Define and shape architecture and design decisions
- Implement robust, maintainable solutions
- Create and execute unit tests to validate code
- Support integration and sustainment activities across the lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline with a concentration in computer science courses
- Minimum 5 years of object oriented C++ software development experience
- Experience with automated test tools and techniques and static code analysis
- Proficiency in a Linux environment
- Experience with Agile development and configuration management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level; U.S. Citizenship required

Pay rate
The annual base salary range is location dependent. In California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas) and in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC the range is $93,200 to $164,450. In most major metros within California, Massachusetts, and New York the range is $107,300 to $185,840. Final salary is determined by work location; this is a general guideline only.
