Responsibilities
- Develop and apply AI technologies across projects with emphasis on signal processing applications.
- Utilize AI paradigms such as computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.
- Engage in all stages of the system development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration, and flight test.
- Own critical tasks and lead technical teams to produce high-quality results.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and whitepapers to secure funding for AI research and development efforts.
- Assume technical lead responsibilities and mentor junior engineers to grow their skills and expertise.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions.
- Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage with other Lockheed Martin teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption and application.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Experience developing with machine learning frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, JAX, or Keras
- Proficiency in Python and libraries including NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas, SciPy, and related tools
- Experience applying machine learning and deep learning to signal processing domains such as radar, communications, electronic warfare, sonar, audio, or biomedical
