Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Engineer Associate to join its Huntsville, Alabama site. This full-time role targets early-career software professionals who will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that addresses business and mission challenges. The role is onsite and requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that provides logical and mathematical solutions to business or mission questions using data processing tools.
- Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
- Leverage knowledge of hardware, software, domain subject matter, processing techniques, and user input to create software for business or mission applications.
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile development documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve intents, outputs, inputs, and controls.
- Ensure software standards are consistently met.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
