About the role

The AI/ML Machine Learning Engineer is positioned within the Space AI Talent Center at Lockheed Martin. The role focuses on applying AI and ML methods to address complex Space-domain challenges in support of national security, collaborating across research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional team of experts spanning research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics.
• Apply state-of-the-art AI and ML tools and techniques to tackle advanced Space-domain problems in service of national security.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, drive innovation, and contribute to solutions addressing critical Space-domain challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (examples include Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical field.
• Advanced experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing.
• Experience with modern software development tools and practices.
• TS/SCI clearance required to start.
