Airport Airfield, Safety & Security Systems Support Engineer

The Airport Airfield, Safety & Security Systems Support Engineer role provides onsite support at John F Kennedy Airport (Jamaica, NY). The position focuses on troubleshooting, operating, and maintaining airfield safety and security technologies, while also producing incident management and analysis reports.

Location

Jamaica, NY (onsite), including support for John F Kennedy Airport, NY.

Compensation

USD 90,000 - 130,000 per year.

Experience

3 years minimum experience (3-5 years of hands-on experience required across the listed systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in triage activities during downtime with cross-functional teams.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to support system uptime and operational continuity.
• Provide incident management and analysis reports.
• Maintain and create documentation for training purposes.
• Maintain and create SOPs and checklists as needed.

Required Skills and Systems

• Hands-on experience supporting, troubleshooting, operating, and maintaining Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL).
• Hands-on experience with airport visual docking guidance systems.
• Hands-on experience with passenger boarding bridge systems.
• Hands-on experience with apron management systems.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV.
• Hands-on experience with Access Control Systems (ACS).
• Hands-on experience with physical security information management systems.
• Hands-on experience with airport operations control systems.
• Hands-on experience with data center equipment.
• Good knowledge of integrated technical management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
