Analytics Engineer

Analytics Engineer role at Ramsey Solutions focused on delivering consumable data products, models, and visualizations to enable data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumable data products including analytical data models, curated tables, metrics, and visualizations to help stakeholders explore trends and apply data in decision making.
• Enable data-driven reasoning by creating well-structured warehouse models and clear data visuals for end users.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts, upholding high standards of data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the platform.
• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and AWS Redshift, with ongoing monitoring for performance and data integrity.
• Implement and enforce robust data quality checks and monitoring to proactively identify and resolve data issues.
• Develop and maintain source-of-truth reports and dashboards for key business metrics, ensuring consistency across reporting channels.
• Develop deep expertise in key datasets and data models to support reliable analytics.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data products.
• Provide guidance on data strategy and best practices to analytics customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a related role.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python and R.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Experience creating data visualizations with tools like Streamlit, Plotly, or Shiny.

Salary

USD 77,000 to 113,000 per year, plus profit sharing and benefits.
