Analytics Engineer, Conversational Analytics

Build Conversational Analytics by shaping data and semantic models for LLM accuracy, while partnering closely with stakeholders to standardize how the company approaches analytics.

Responsibilities

• First 2–3 months: embed with a stakeholder team to learn day-to-day analyst workflows, build stakeholder relationships, and develop business fluency
• Design foundational data models and semantic models plus supporting documentation and context for conversational analytics across multiple domains (growth, product, business metrics, operations)
• Turn opaque, unstructured problems into reusable analytic frameworks and standardized semantic models that influence how the company thinks about its business
• Work with diverse stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement solutions that standardize the data approach to common problems
• Teach and guide stakeholders on best practices for using LLMs for their own data needs, and convert what works into training materials
• Develop and maintain AI evaluations for conversational analytics by tracking accuracy programmatically and establishing feedback loops with stakeholders

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time experience in quantitative analysis roles, including a portion focused on data modeling in DBT
• Hands-on experience using LLMs for coding and analytics, including building data products through LLM workflows beyond simple question answering
• Expert-level SQL skills
• Experience with BI tools to communicate insights effectively (Hex and Looker)
• Strong communication and teaching abilities
• Strong problem solving, analytical aptitude, and numerical dexterity
• Demonstrated record of project ownership

Compensation: USD 137,300 - 166,000 per year
