Job Description
Application Security (AppSec) Engineer - AI Trainer role supporting AI model training for cybersecurity through content evaluation and security problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity
- Assess threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code
- Provide feedback that directly informs improvements to the next generation of AI security models
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, including one or more of: penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work
- Experience may include government or military cyber operations
- Coding experience required, with comfort navigating and patching an existing codebase
- English fluency (native or bilingual) and strong writing skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Cybersecurity certifications plus (examples: OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar)
