Job Description

This role centers on cloud-enabled security within DoD enterprise architectures and the modernization of IT infrastructure for national security.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced enterprise cloud platforms to help DoD clients modernize their IT infrastructure and execute critical missions
  • Modernize legacy computing environments or design new applications from the ground up with security at the forefront

Requirements

  • 4+ years supporting DoD enterprise architecture initiatives
  • 4+ years designing, deploying, and administering F5 BIG-IP appliances
  • 4+ years deploying In-Line Break and Inspect solutions, including reverse proxy and forward proxy configurations
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting TLS and mutual TLS on a proxy
  • Experience collaborating with DoD clients and stakeholders to troubleshoot enterprise-architecture issues
  • Knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, and PKI
  • Secret clearance

Clearance

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

The projected annual compensation range is 99,000 to 225,000 USD, determined by location, education, experience, and contract factors; posting closes within 90 days of the posting date.

Work Model

Our culture emphasizes collaboration in person and virtually. When working virtually, team members are generally expected to have cameras on during meetings. Remote roles may require occasional in-person work at Booz Allen or a customer facility. Hybrid roles typically require regular presence at a Booz Allen facility with possible visits to customer sites. Onsite roles are primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
