Job Description

Deloitte seeks a Business Data Analyst - Project Delivery Senior Analyst in AI & Engineering to collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, translating analytics requirements into Agile work and delivering ad hoc analysis, dashboards, and runbooks while supporting UAT and release activities on client projects. This onsite role is based in Philadelphia, PA, with a salary range of USD 69,000 to 127,000 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to gather and document analytics needs, including problem statements, scope, assumptions, and success metrics (KPIs).
  • Translate requirements into Agile/SAFe artifacts such as epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria; support sprint planning, reviews, retros, and cross‑team coordination.
  • Provide ad‑hoc analysis and quick‑turn reporting to generate directional insights; develop lightweight dashboards in Tableau or Power BI and work with BI/reporting developers to industrialize high‑usage reporting.
  • Support recurring analyses and reports (monthly, biweekly, or weekly as applicable): define requirements, validate outputs with stakeholders, and maintain runbooks.
  • Coordinate and support UAT and release/change activities, including dependency tracking, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communications in line with client governance standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional or technical teams, escalating matters as needed for engagement management consideration.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of analytics and data experience with strong analytical thinking; ability to frame ambiguous questions; SQL proficiency for querying and validating datasets; advanced Excel skills.
  • 4+ years of experience with BI tooling, including hands-on work with Tableau and/or Power BI; experience building or enhancing dashboards and a solid understanding of metric definitions and dashboard usability.
  • 4+ years of experience in structured storytelling using PowerPoint.
  • 4+ years of experience with Snowflake.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% based on project needs and client requirements.
