Civil Engineer

This full-time position provides an opportunity to design and oversee civil and infrastructure projects, analyze data, prepare proposals, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and AutoCAD experience are required, and the work is performed onsite in Santa Barbara, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction projects.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Perform complex calculations and use specialized software to ensure accurate project specifications.
• Prepare and present project proposals to clients, including cost estimates and timelines.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.
• Proficiency in CAD software, and other engineering design tools.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating reports, proposals, and project documentation.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in construction monitoring to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Civil engineering: 1 year (Required)
• AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
