Civil Engineer PE - Land Development & Municipal Projects

Join a collaborative civil engineering team working on visible land development, municipal, and infrastructure projects across Texas. This licensed role offers a comprehensive benefits package, a competitive salary of $110,000 to $130,000 based on experience, and clear growth potential toward project management and leadership. You will also receive support for continuing education and professional development while owning projects from start to finish and working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil site design, including grading, paving, drainage, and utility layout
• Prepare and seal construction documents, including plans, specifications, and engineering reports
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across several active projects
• Coordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, and municipal reviewers through permitting and approvals
• Mentor EITs and designers and review their work for quality and accuracy
• Support proposals and scopes of work, contributing to client development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Active Texas PE license, or the ability to obtain Texas licensure by comity quickly
• 5+ years of civil design experience at a consulting firm
• Working knowledge of Texas municipal and county design criteria
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and agencies
