Role overview

This on-site role, located in Fairburn, Georgia, offers a salary range of USD 90,000 to 124,000 per year. It provides controls engineering leadership and hands-on support to production, engineering, and maintenance teams, focusing on PLC programming, project execution, HMI/SCADA, and instrument calibrations to drive continuous improvement of automated processes and equipment. The position also involves designing and approving electrical installations in compliance with codes and standards to ensure reliable site power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the plant floor
• Contribute to scoping, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects
• Coordinate and implement upgrades to control system software and hardware
• Develop and sustain a long-range plan for electrical and controls infrastructure at the site
• Keep electrical and controls as-built documentation current and complete
• Support training and development for the maintenance staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 3+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 5+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment
