Digital and Automation Project Engineer

Nestlé Purina is hiring a Digital and Automation Project Engineer to support capital projects across Nestlé and Nestlé Purina factories in North America. In this onsite role in St. Louis, you will help deliver electrical, automation, operational technology, and digital scope by coordinating project assurance activities, documentation, and engineering standardization for review by the lead project engineer.

What you will do

• Support D&A project assurance and governance by maintaining stage-specific deliverables registers, review packages, open items, and comments
• Manage technical drawings and project documents, including receipt, distribution, revision status, and retrieval for project management review and retention
• Support project initiation and delivery, assisting internal teams and third parties in following established D&A ways of working
• Coordinate and track D&A procurement-related items such as requests for proposal (RFPs), follow-up requests for information, vendor submittals, contracts, and other agreements tied to legal compliance
• Support construction, commissioning, validation, and project handover records
• Review, apply, and continuously improve D&A engineering standards, including the knowledge repository, templates, resources, and training materials

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• 1+ year of experience in electrical and control system engineering and design for capital projects in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

Compensation and benefits

Salary range: USD 82,403 to 114,512 per year (USD 82,403.10 to $114,512.00).
