Job Description
Entry-level cybersecurity engineering role in Huntsville, Alabama supporting Lockheed Martin's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon program by applying cybersecurity practices to tactical products and collaborating with systems and software teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement cybersecurity controls and practices on tactical products and related systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, software engineering, and product teams to ensure secure design and integration across the system development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or similar).
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (eg, Security+, GSEC) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity and networking concepts.
- Active interim or final Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- U.S. Citizenship required; position requires eligibility for a government security clearance.
