Cybersecurity Engineer - Early Career

Entry-level cybersecurity engineering role in Huntsville, Alabama supporting Lockheed Martin's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon program by applying cybersecurity practices to tactical products and collaborating with systems and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement cybersecurity controls and practices on tactical products and related systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, software engineering, and product teams to ensure secure design and integration across the system development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or similar).
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (eg, Security+, GSEC) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity and networking concepts.
• Active interim or final Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• U.S. Citizenship required; position requires eligibility for a government security clearance.
