Job Description
Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer Team Lead in North Las Vegas, NV, with onsite work primarily performed at a customer facility. In this role, you will supervise multiple Enterprise Security Operations Center teams and support monitoring across both unclassified and classified networks at geographically dispersed locations.
You will lead cybersecurity operations and incident response, while ensuring activities follow established policies and remain consistent with classified access eligibility requirements. Technical oversight includes coordinating detection, analysis, and remediation and driving post-incident improvements to strengthen security posture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cybersecurity engineering teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring efficient operations
- Oversee and direct incident response activities, including detection, analysis, and remediation of security incidents
- Maintain proficiency in cybersecurity technologies including Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Firewalls, SIEM, Log Analysis, and Incident Response
- Collaborate with other IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure comprehensive security coverage and effective communication
- Apply post-incident analysis techniques and root-cause remediation planning to drive improvements in security posture
- Articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure transparency and understanding
- Ensure all activities align with established policies and mission objectives, maintaining eligibility for access to classified information
Requirements
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with supervision responsibilities for multiple Enterprise Security Operations Center teams and monitoring multiple unclassified and classified networks spanning multiple geographically dispersed locations
- Experience with cybersecurity technologies, practices, and principles such as Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Firewalls, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Log Analysis, and Incident Response
- Experience leading teams, managing projects, and providing technical guidance
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification

Clearance

Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range is $99,000 to $225,000 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
