Job Description

Accenture is seeking a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Manager to secure AI systems within client environments. The role emphasizes AI security architecture, threat modeling, and governance across multi-cloud stacks, leveraging agentic coding tools to deliver production-ready security controls on site in New York, NY. The position offers a salary range of USD 87,400 to 305,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments across complex client environments, including LLM systems, multi-agent pipelines, RAG architectures, and MLOps infrastructure, owning the full security design from assessment through hardened deployment.
  • Perform hands on security engineering in a development environment centered on agentic coding tools, building AI powered detection systems, automated threat response tooling, security assessment frameworks, and governance automation using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in daily practice.
  • Manage AI specific threat surface across programs, applying OWASP LLM Top 10 controls, prompt injection hardening, model extraction prevention, adversarial input defenses, and AI supply chain security across concurrent client workstreams.
  • Architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack, including identity and access for AI systems, data pipeline security, model serving security, and cross system integration risk across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Lead AI governance framework implementation aligned with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and model risk management, applied to live production systems rather than theoretical exercises.
  • Shape AI reinvention security strategy for client CISO and CTO by building risk adjusted investment cases, security architecture roadmaps, and AI governance operating models tied to business outcomes.
  • Define and publish reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators to scale across multiple client engagements and grow the Secure AI practice.
  • Facilitate architecture design sessions, threat modeling workshops, and code with sessions alongside client engineering and security leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years of engineering experience in production environments with deep expertise in at least one cybersecurity domain such as application security, SecOps or detection engineering, cloud security, IAM, offensive security or penetration testing, or governance, risk, and compliance.
  • A minimum of one year of hands on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production environments. The role requires practical experience, not just theoretical familiarity.
  • At least six years of end to end security delivery ownership in a client embedded or production setting; internal advisory or compliance only roles do not qualify.
  • Six years of experience with cloud platform security fundamentals on at least one provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM, network security, secrets management, and AI service security configurations.
