CyberSecurity Systems Engineer (VmWare)

PRI Technology offers a full-time CyberSecurity Systems Engineer role onsite in East Hanover, New Jersey, delivering hands-on work across IT security, virtualization, and cloud solutions. This position centers on deploying and supporting IT and cyber security deployments, including VMware virtualization, within a mid-size consulting environment. You will contribute to enhancing security postures while guiding compliance efforts for HIPAA, PCI, and NERC CIP, and you will help secure OT networks.

Responsibilities

• Support and deploy a range of IT solutions including Cyber Security, Virtualization, and Cloud projects
• Conduct Cyber Security Audits, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, Attack Simulations, and Threat Hunting
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based Cyber Security solutions in AWS and Azure
• Contribute to SOC and SIEM integration initiatives
• Configure and deploy on-premise and cloud security solutions such as CDR, Vulnerability Assessment, IDS/IPS, Next-Gen Firewalls, and Threat Intelligence tools
• Elevate security posture to meet HIPAA, PCI, and NERC CIP requirements
• Secure Critical Infrastructure on OT networks
• Design, deploy, and support VMware virtualization including ESXi, Horizon, and HA Clusters
• Develop and implement Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions
• Monitor, support, and maintain customer networks and security solutions as part of MSP/MSSP activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or a relevant field
• Network and systems experience of 3+ years
• Cyber Security experience for IT and OT networks of 3+ years
• Bare metal installation and support of VMware ESXi
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Location

Salary: $93,249.40 - $112,300.35 per year • Location: East Hanover, NJ • Onsite
