Job Description

Growve is hiring a Data & Analytics Engineer to strengthen its data pipeline, integrations/automation, and business intelligence support in a hybrid role based in Nashville.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain a cloud-based data pipeline built with Python and Airflow orchestration into BigQuery, with enough depth to provide reliable coverage during absences or high-demand periods.
  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using iPaaS tools such as Make to connect task management, product information, and other business systems through API-driven integrations.
  • Help develop the technical infrastructure behind an AI-powered analytics assistant, working in VS Code, using Git/GitHub, and maintaining CI/CD workflows (example: GitHub Actions or similar).
  • Handle authentication and secrets management for cloud services as part of the analytics assistant and integration work.
  • Build and maintain integrations that synchronize product and item data between:
    • a task management system
    • a product information management (PIM) platform
    • our ERP (Microsoft Business Central)
  • Partner with the ERP team to define and build required API endpoints for Microsoft Business Central integration.
  • Support onboarding of new external data sources (for example, manufacturer/supplier feeds) into the reporting environment, including data validation and quality checks prior to integration.
  • Serve as a front-line contact for incoming Power BI and reporting requests by triaging questions, troubleshooting existing reports/tools, and gathering requirements for new reporting capabilities.
  • Implement straightforward reporting requests directly; scope and hand off more complex work to the right teammate.
  • Identify and propose additional automation or reliability improvements across the data, integration, and reporting stack as opportunities arise.

Requirements

  • Python proficiency for scripting, data processing, and automation.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow (or equivalent) and cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery (or equivalent), including SQL proficiency.
  • Experience with iPaaS/workflow automation platforms (examples: Make, Zapier, Workato), with the understanding that specific platform experience matters less than strong REST API knowledge, webhooks, and authentication patterns (examples: OAuth, API keys).
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, including report/dashboard development and troubleshooting, with the ability to both build and support existing tools.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs, set expectations, and translate requests into technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Git/GitHub and CI/CD concepts (example: GitHub Actions or similar).
  • Comfort with cloud authentication and secrets management practices.
  • Strong data validation and quality assurance instincts, including reconciling and vetting data from external sources.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize across competing requests, learn new tools/platforms quickly, and partner effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
