Job Description
Build distributed, large-scale data processing systems and LLM-powered experiences for Apple TV and Sports.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Apple teams to design and implement data solutions aligned to business needs
- Design and build data platform components that enable data analytics for Apple TV and Sports products
- Develop large scale data pipelines and backend services on a small team using microservices and big data technologies
- Iterate across all stages of data pipelines
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience in Java or Scala
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical discipline
- Experience working with large scale distributed data processing technologies and developing AI agents
- Experience with big data and distributed systems
- Experience developing microservices and REST APIs
- Experience working with LLMs and developing AI agents
- Design and build LLM-powered applications and intelligent agents at scale
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Self-directed and able to create architecture and design documents
- Ability to capture cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks
- Strong AI, engineering, and communication skills
- Passion for quality and ability to understand complex systems

Compensation
- USD 142,300 - 263,300 per year
