Data Engineer
Job Description
UST is hiring a Data Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support program execution, documentation, and readiness activities.
Responsibilities
- Work with staff to maximize productivity across the project or program.
- Document all phases of project, program, and process development.
- Ensure required information is reported, disseminated, or transferred to the appropriate functional areas.
- Lead regular program reviews and readiness assessments, including risk management discussions.
- Communicate program status, risks, mitigation plans, and executive updates to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Engage in driving BOM uploads and CP request activities.
- Launch CRF (change request form) and update PUSH/DROP as applicable.
- Manage and track system ship dates, updating the system push pout tracker accordingly.
- Close CRFs when project manager approvals are complete.
- Issue delivery notes for completed projects.
- Provide paperwork refreshers for systems that have been in FGI and are nearing their ship date.
- Establish and coordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Test Engineering, Quality, Product Engineering, Operations, and Program Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 0–4 years of experience.
- Project management (required).
- Administrator/project management (desired).
- Microsoft Office skills (required).
- Data Analytics (desired).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).

Compensation Range
- $72,000–$108,000 per year
Role Location
- Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)
- Location note: The role is located in Austin, Texas.
