Job Description
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer II to design and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines along with analytics-ready datasets that power Ring's RBKS sales and marketing analytics. This role leverages GenAI, AWS, and BI tooling across multiple data environments to accelerate insight generation. The position is onsite in Hawthorne, CA, with a salary range of USD 132,100 to 178,800 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent plus at least five years of data engineering experience.
Responsibilities

- Architect and apply appropriate data architecture for a complex, multi-channel environment to support the sell-through pipeline, serving as the single source of truth for Ring and Blink unit sales across 450+ datasets.
- Utilize GenAI to speed development and produce data optimized for both analysts and downstream AI Agent pipelines.
- Create direct API integrations for new retailers such as Costco, Best Buy, and Home Depot using reusable frameworks that enable rapid onboarding while preserving reliability.
- Support large-scale migrations from the Ring Data Warehouse to native AWS services and from Tableau to QuickSight and AI-driven reporting.
- Identify and remediate data quality issues and performance bottlenecks in core pipelines without impacting daily operations.
- Enable diverse analytics use cases such as business reporting, demand planning, machine learning, and optimization models by delivering clean, query-ready data.
- Collaborate with business intelligence engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders across verticals to promote platform standards and best practices.
Requirements
