Data Engineer II, Intl. Seller Services

Join Amazon's International Seller Services central analytics data engineering group to design scalable data and ML infrastructure powering GenAI applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, drive data engineering initiatives, and deliver end-to-end analytical solutions that are highly available, scalable, stable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Work with large datasets, organizing and curating data for analytics with a strategic, long term view on architecting advanced data ecosystems.
• Build efficient and scalable data services and integrate data systems with AWS tools and services to support diverse customer use cases and applications.
• Design, implement, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for analytics and data science.
• Implement data ingestion routines using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes by leveraging AWS technologies and big data tools.
• Gather business and functional requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, operable solutions with a flexible data architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers to adopt best practices in data system creation, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing data solutions and drive continuous enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics, including ETL/ELT processes, OLAP technologies, data modeling, SQL, and Oracle.
• 3+ years of non internship data engineering experience.
