Data Engineer III

Support analytics and data needs for Verily’s first-party research and care solutions by delivering reliable data models and pipelines across the Precision Health Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve analytical data models and data pipelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive engineering solutions that deliver value to partners.
• Own individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while following agile principles to iterate and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts by contributing to technical designs and supporting data models that are intuitive, performant, and high quality.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering, including SQL and ETL.
• 2+ years of experience with the dbt (data build tool) library.
• Experience collaborating and prioritizing across a broad organization.

Location: San Bruno, CA (onsite)

Salary: USD 106,000 - 159,000 per year

Minimum Experience: 4 years

Education: BS degree or equivalent practical experience
