DevSecOps Application Security Engineer

Infosys offers an onsite Atlanta opportunity for a DevSecOps Application Security Engineer, delivering a role that centers on secure, scalable IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve incidents, investigate root causes, and document preventive recommendations. This position emphasizes security alignment, incident management, and opportunities to influence automation and efficiency, while enabling ongoing learning and cross-team collaboration.

What you will do

• Work with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root cause analyses, and document findings with preventive recommendations
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence to capture infrastructure maturity and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to designing scalable, cost effective IT infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and develop technical documentation for deployed systems
• Align release planning and environment readiness, execute deployments per protocols, conduct post-deployment testing, and manage version control to track changes
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted integration into existing systems and processes
• Analyze performance data across systems, coordinate insights on system behavior, and support capacity planning to optimize performance
• Perform security checks, run recovery drills, and conduct compliance audits; implement security measures and coordinate continuity plans to maintain standards
• Gather feedback to identify automation opportunities, assess existing infrastructure processes, and propose enhancements for efficiency gains
• Serve as a liaison among onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements, ensuring effective collaboration
• Develop a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge, leveraging insights from other projects to drive efficiency and preserve organizational expertise
