Job Description
Electrical Engineer position at the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, onsite in Washington, DC, with a salary range of USD 121,785 to 158,322 per year. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead a broad set of electrical engineering projects across new construction, renovations, and facility maintenance at BEP locations.
- Develop methods, procedures, and specifications for highly complex electrical systems.
- Prepare technical reports on intricate electrical engineering matters influencing current and future BEP programs.
- Interpret policies, regulations, and engineering criteria and provide guidance to management on complex electrical system matters.
Requirements
- Probationary or trial period required for all new hires; performance and suitability assessed; appointment not automatically permanent.
- Public Trust background investigation required.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine suitability.
- Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer for salary payments.
- Tax compliance review required.
