Electrical Engineer

AllSTEM Connections is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering efforts across commercial boiler and engineered systems product lines. This role provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day electrical engineering support, with a focus on safety, reliability, performance, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering expertise to support designs that are safe, reliable, and serviceable.
• Track industry trends and advancements, and implement relevant improvements into products and systems.
• Provide technical direction to manufacturing, quality, and service teams.
• Review production issues and drive robust corrective solutions.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through optimized electrical design approaches.
• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and commissioning activities.
• Ensure products comply with applicable standards, including UL, NFPA, NEC, and CSA as appropriate.
• Lead electrical design work, including design execution, review/approval of drawings for customer orders, and identification and specification of special-order electrical components required to meet order requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Management team and electrical designers to align pricing, availability, and specifications with project needs.
• Establish and maintain standardized electrical engineering procedures and libraries.

Required Qualifications

• An Electrical Engineering Degree (preferred).
• 5+ years of electrical and controls design experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Design Principles.
• Ability to ensure information is passed to relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate clearly in conversations and interactions with others.
• Ability to communicate clearly in business writing.
• Demonstrated depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area.
• Ability to ensure work and shared information are complete and accurate, including preparation for meetings and presentations and follow-through to confirm agreements and commitments are fulfilled.
• Ability to focus on outcomes, set challenging goals, prioritize effort toward goals, and meet or exceed them.
• Ability to make difficult decisions in a timely manner.

Work Location

Pulaski, NY (onsite, in person).

Compensation

USD 110,000 - 160,000 per year.

Physical Demands and Vision Requirements

• Repetitive Motion: substantial movement or motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.

• Vision: visual acuity required to view a computer terminal and analyze data.
