Electrical Engineer Entry Level

SSI Technology, Inc. is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer to aid in coordinating product development, testing, and manufacturing support for electronic-mechanical assemblies. The role is based onsite in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and specifications.
• Assist in organizing the plan to make or purchase product components.
• Generate Bill of Materials.
• Provide estimates of work to be performed.
• Assess and manage risk throughout the development process.
• Coordinate development of product activities with other functional departments to ensure on-time delivery of the product.
• Design test procedures and coordinate testing for verification and validation of requirements.
• Support Purchasing in sourcing, including selection of part fabrication and finishing methods such as castings, machining, plating, and painting.
• Conduct and participate in technical reviews of requirements and specifications.
• Generate work instructions to support manufacturing.
• Act as liaison between the Engineering and Manufacturing departments to ensure effective transfer of technical information consistent with development and production of the product.
