Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineering

Intercontinental Exchange Holdings, Inc. is building dependable information security tooling and infrastructure for endpoints and servers across on-prem environments, the Cloud, and containers. As an Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineering in Atlanta, GA (onsite), you’ll help deliver security solutions that improve operational reliability through automation, evaluation of controls and tools, and strong collaboration across the Information Security organization.

What you’ll do

• Assist with the design, planning, and implementation of information security solutions
• Tune and design systems infrastructure to support security needs and ongoing enhancements
• Automate manual work using scripting and application development
• Investigate and adopt new security technologies and tools as needs arise
• Evaluate, test, and integrate new security controls, settings, and security tools
• Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose practical solutions
• Support and coordinate with developers, operations staff, release engineers, Incident Response, GRC, Red Team, and other information security disciplines
• Educate and mentor team members and operations staff to strengthen delivery and execution
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to provide after-hours support

What you bring

• Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant Engineering or Information Security experience
• Top-tier analytics and problem solving skills
• Experience and familiarity with cloud and container technologies
• Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented team environment
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Clear communication with both technical and business resources

How the role delivers

This position creates and maintains security tooling and infrastructure for endpoints or servers across on-prem, the Cloud, or in containers. You’ll operate within a results-oriented, service-delivery team, support other Information Security disciplines, perform root cause analysis, and help select, develop, and implement automation tools. You’ll also contribute to deeply technical discussions while coordinating across engineering and security functions.
