Forge AI/Machine Learning Engineer Senior
Job Description
Senior Forge AI/ML Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX (hybrid) leading end-to-end AI/ML solutions for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control and owning secure DevOps for defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML pipelines to tackle engineering, manufacturing, and business-operations challenges, including test-point reduction, automated calibration, AI-powered document search, and computer-vision inspection.
- Build and implement edge-deployed AI/ML solutions for classified, air-gapped environments.
- Lead cross-functional solution teams using a consulting-style project framework, coordinating engineering design, production, and business operations.
- Partner directly with program customers to define value-driven outcomes and deliver measurable results in cost, labor, yield, and schedule.
- Own the full DevOps lifecycle—CI/CD, containerization, model monitoring, and governance—for secure, high-assurance AI in defense systems.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or a related field
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
- AI/ML research and development experience with a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI such as LLMs
- Proficiency with Python and agentic IDEs
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MCPs
- Ability to lay out technical roadmaps and communicate plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen for consideration, and the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Work schedule options
